The IP40 protection of the Izar B Max luminaire indicates the degree of protection according to the international standard IEC 60529, where the number "4" means protection against the ingress of solid particles larger than 1 mm, such as dust or small dirt, and "0" means that the luminaire is not protected against the ingress of water. This means that the luminaire is suitable for normal indoor environments where it is not exposed to direct contact with moisture or water droplets. The combination of this degree of protection and the high quality of light thanks to LED technology makes the Izar B Max luminaire not only aesthetic but also technically advanced for modern interiors.
