The Atrax pendant light impresses with its unusual design, which resembles a moving structure - thanks to the variously curved metal profiles and the irregular arrangement of the light spheres, light looks like a living organism. This effect is not only aesthetic, but deliberately creates an impression of energy and movement that enlivens the space and creates a dramatic lighting scenery.

The Atrax collection has been designed with a variety of applications in mind - while the large hanging models dominate hotel lobbies or restaurants, smaller versions allow for elegant deployment in the home. This approach has resulted in a series that combines design excellence with practical variability for projects of all sizes.

Designed by Franco Zavarise

Franco Zavarise, born in 1960 in Mareeba, Australia, is the visionary founder of the Italian brand ZAVA, which he founded in 1982 with the aim of turning his passion for light and working with metal into unique lighting. After completing his technical studies, he decided to design lighting for his friends, which became the germ of the entire brand. From the very beginning, Zavarise combines his deep experience in metalworking with an instinctive sense of design. At ZAVA's headquarters, traditional craftsmanship meets state-of-the-art technology - lighting are first created using high-tech machinery and then refined by hand, with attention to every detail. Franco believes that quality design should not only be beautiful and functional, but also affordable and sustainable. Today, the ZAVA brand is a symbol of Italian know-how, where industrial precision is combined with a human touch. Interestingly, most of the products are still created directly in their workshops in northern Italy, guaranteeing quality control and authenticity of each piece.
